honestly, i don’t want to recover. SHing is my easiest way to deal, & i know i won’t do any permanent damage.

2. What part of your body is most affected by it?
mainly my upper thighs, sometimes my forearm or belly. upper thighs are easy to hide as my shorts cover it, & my boyfriend hasn’t actually seen them up close so he thinks they’re stretch marks *face palm*

ive been SHing for around 8 years now. when i was 5, i was molested by a family member. never told anyone until i was about 10, then started seeing counsellors. they always told me that it would affect me more as i grew older, and i just shrugged that off. now i understand what they mean. i believe my anger problems and depression/anxiety are all because of what happened. any small think can set me off in a rage, where i SH to calm down. any tiny comment can send me into a depression, where i SH to feel better. it’s becoming a problem, especially when i can’t talk to those that care, or they dont understand why i flip it so easily…..
